Hi, I'm Cathy...
My career has been in healthcare. First working directly for a hospital then working for medical equipment companies (in sales and as a clinical educator).
I love sharing knowledge and teaching others how to apply new skills to better care for their patients.
As a clinical educator I often worked way too many hours without enough rest in between shifts. I LOVED what I did and was well paid, but between the hours of working different shifts and the weekly out-of-state travel, I was exhausted.
Each week, I was home just long enough for Friday afternoon Zoom calls, to repack a suitcase of scrubs and then it was practically time to leave again. I dreaded Monday mornings.
I was tired, needed a break and the PTO I had was NOT enough!
So, I came up with an idea... to retire early and travel (on "my" schedule) in my RV.
It was a good plan until several life altering challenges crossed my path. The money (I thought I had) in savings was no longer enough to enjoy my early retirement and pay the bills. I needed income but also needed / wanted time and location freedom.
I found digital marketing and it is the solution to build up my savings ("Plan B" income). The bonus is I have flexible hours and location freedom! It's a win-win situation!!
